Julian leads the small caps sector research for E&P, having initially joined Evans and Partners in 2016. He has more than 20 years’ research experience across key industry sectors.

He initially started his career on the stock exchange trading floor in 1987 and then moved into research the following year where he has been analysing companies ever since, with a sole focus on small companies. He was a senior analyst at ABN AMRO and then took on the role of Director and Team Leader at Citi where he spent eight years.

Prior to his current role he was co-portfolio manager in the small companies fund at Legg Mason.

Julian has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Cellular Biology and Chemistry and a Diploma of the Securities Institute of Australia.
